Diboll Homeschool Academy Survey

Posted Date: 11/04/26 (05:29 PM)

Interested in a flexible virtual learning option for your student?

Diboll ISD is in the process of establishing Lumberjack Homeschool Academy (LHA), a virtual campus planned to open in fall 2027 for students entering grades 6–12. Planned enrollment will extend to eligible students across Texas, including families living outside Diboll ISD.

Students will complete most coursework online with flexible daily schedules, clear deadlines, teacher support, and regular progress check-ins. Graduates will earn a Diboll ISD high school diploma. Eligible high school students will also have opportunities to pursue college dual credit.

LHA is designed for students seeking fewer distractions, flexibility around work or family responsibilities, or a different learning environment with personal support. Students will need to manage their time and stay on track with assignments.

Families will stay connected through ParentSquare, Skyward, a designated district contact, and opportunities such as college fairs, career fairs, and industry visits. District staff will coordinate academic support, counseling, and required student services.

Enrollment is voluntary. Required state testing and certain services will take place in person.

Help us plan by completing one family interest survey per household. Your response expresses interest only and does not enroll your student or commit your family to participating.
